The Coca-Cola Company has introduced a new 60cl PET bottle for its range of soft drinks in Nigeria, pledging to deliver increased volume to consumers at no additional cost. The move, described by the company as a step towards enhancing consumer satisfaction and value, affects popular brands including Coke, Fanta, and Sprite.

In a statement announcing the launch, Yusuf Murtala, senior director of frontline Marketing at Coca-Cola Nigeria, explained the rationale behind the packaging update. “We understand that today’s consumers are looking for more value and meaningful experiences in every purchase. The 60cl Coke bottle is our way of giving Nigerians that little Xtraaa, more refreshment, more moments to share, and more joy for the same price,” he stated.

The expanded offering, which is now being distributed nationwide, is positioned by Coca-Cola as more than just a packaging adjustment. The company views it as part of a broader strategy to deepen its engagement with Nigerian consumers.

Murtala elaborated that the latest evolution of the brand not only promises the same great taste but also elevates everyday moments, bringing an added layer of enjoyment to every experience. Coca-Cola reiterated that the increased bottle size reflects its belief that Nigerian consumers deserve more, reinforcing its commitment to delivering value that resonates with their daily lives and facilitates shared experiences.
