Frank Nneji retires as MD ABC Transport Company

After 30 years of unbroken active service as managing director of the first stock exchange quoted road transport company in Nigeria, Associated Bus Transport (ABC Transport), Frank Nneji, its founder and managing director, has retired. In a telephone call to Frank Nneji, he confirmed to Business A.M. that he has officially retired from ABC as the managing director, a company he established in 1993. He also confirmed that Jude Nneji is the new managing director of the company. Before his appointment, he had served as deputy managing director of Associated Bus Company plc.

But Frank Nneji, a business mogul, from Ezuhu Nguru Nweke Autonomous Community in Aboh Mbaise local government area, Imo State, who specialised in the management of road transportation business, disclosed that he will serve on the board of the company as a non- executive director. The board of ABC Transport had earlier commended him for his sacrifices, impressive innovation, as well as his outstanding vision which the board said has placed the company in its present height in the transportation business, as well as in the logistics sector in the country.
