Infinity Trust Mortgage Bank appoints Adeoye Fabamwo  as independent non-executive director

The board of directors of Infinity Trust Mortgage Bank Plc have announced the confirmation of Olufemi Adeoye Fabanwo as an independent non-executive director of the bank by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).

A statement signed by Tolu Osho,the company secretary, stated that the appointment took effect on April 3 2023 and is subject to ratification by shareholders at the bank’s next annual general meeting (AGM).

ITMB - Infinity Trust Mortgage Bank PlcFabamwo is a renowned banker with an illustrious banking experience of over three and a half decades in the CBN until 2017. He served in various capacities including: Director, Other Financial Institutions Supervision Department between 2010 and 2014, where he was superintendent over the regulation, supervision and reform of Primary Mortgage Banks (PMBs), Finance Companies (FCs), Development Finance Institutions (DFIs), Microfinance Banks (MFBs), and Bureaux de Change (BDCs). He was also the director of currency operations from 2014 to 2017.

He is a registered member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (FCIB). He also holds a PhD in Business Administration from the Atlantic International University,USA.
