RwandaAir, one of the world’s fastest growing airlines by patronage, has offered a 15 percent saving off flights for passengers across its extensive network as Kigali, the capital city of Rwanda, prepares to host over 5,000 delegates and world leaders from 54 member states of the Commonwealth at the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) scheduled for June 20-26 2022.

The offer applies to all destinations across RwandAir’s network, and is available to customers who booked flights between June 13 and June 25, 2022.

The airline, which operates one of the newest state-of-the-art fleets of the African continent, said the offer is in celebration of the multinational summit taking place in the continent for the first time in a decade as Commonwealth
member states focus on delivering a common future.

The offer applies to all destinations across RwandAir’s network, and is available to customers who booked flights between June 13 and June 25, 2022, using the special code CHOGM22 at rwandair.com. It also enables customers to travel to 22 countries throughout Africa, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.

Ahead of the biennial event themed “Delivering a common future: Connect, Innovate and Transform,” the flag carrier has added extra London flights, scheduled to run between June 11 and July 3, including select non-stop flights direct to Kigali.

Commenting on the offer, Jimmy Musoni, RwandAir’s chief operating officer, said the airline is very pleased to welcome the world to the Central African country.

“To recognise this hugely important milestone for Rwanda, we wanted to share with our customers some great savings on fares to every destination across our extensive network,” he said.

Musoni added that RwandAir is an anchor partner for the Commonwealth Business Forum and committed to giving the warmest of welcomes to all its customers, irrespective of their places of origin, while providing vital links across Africa and beyond.

With a fleet of 12 aircraft including two wide-body Airbus A330s, the airline currently serves 28 destinations across East, Central, West and Southern Africa, the Middle East, Europe and Asia.
