Female entrepreneur sets up skill acquisition center to empower youthsImu Ovaioza, chief executive officer of the center, in a statement made available to Business A.M, divulged plans to commence full-scale operation from July 10, 2021, with admitted in-session students training from July 5th. She added that entry for training opens every three months at the OSAC Centre, CRD Estate, Lugbe, Abuja.

Ovaioza said 10 varieties of disruptive courses are scheduled for the maiden session  including, cleaning agents production, data analytics and programming, hair barbering, hair making, interior decoration, makeup artistry, pastries, shoemaking and tailoring (male and female).

Elucidating the purpose of the establishment, the female entrepreneur and founder of Ovaioza Farm Produce Storage Business (OFSB), explained that the number of available jobs  is lower than the amount of qualified graduates, leaving a lot of youths without a source of income. This, she said, fuelled the creation of a long list of essential money-making skills to help empower youths at an affordable fee.

“People will never run out of the need for certain services and OSAC is dedicated to teaching young people how to provide these services to the masses,” she stressed.

Noting that the resumption date is fast approaching, she  enjoined  prospective applicants to hasten their application processes to meet up with ongoing sessions.

“We have realised that more people are seeking to apply. In that light, we are leaving the applications open till one week after the resumption,” she added.

The statement further disclosed that registration for the 2021 session is available at http://www.osac.com
